UD can optionally define a DCL symbol or process-level logical name containing this information, instead of actually setting a new default directory.

username

Specifies the username to change directories to. You must have SYSPRV (or the image must be installed with SYSPRV) to specify a user other than yourself.
 

/BACK
 
When the /BACK qualifier is given, UD sets default to the directory that was the default prior to the last UD command. You must have already used the UD utility to change your default directory prior to using the /BACK qualifier. Do not specify a username parameter with the /BACK qualifier.
 
/SYMBOL=symbol-name
/NOSYMBOL (default)
 
The /SYMBOL qualifier causes UD to set the specified local CLI symbol with the specified user's login directory. When /SYMBOL is specified, UD does not change the current default directory.
 
/DEFINE=logical-name
/NODEFINE (default)
 
The /DEFINE qualifier causes UD to set the specified process-level logical name with the specified user's login directory. When /DEFINE is specified, UD does not change the current default directory.
 
/QUIET
/NOQUIET (default)
 
Normally, UD displays a status line indicating the old default directory, and the new default directory after it has been set. The /QUIET qualifier suppresses this output.
 
/VERSION
 
Displays the current version of UD. Do not specify the username parameter or any other qualifiers with /VERSION.
